02.

Postpartum Care Package & Free Dinner

Postpartum is exhausting- the least we can do as a community is bring relief to dinner planning after baby! In addition to a delicious frozen, homemade lasagna we also provide a gift of diapers, wipes, local resource information for baby and family and lots of other goodies!

03.

Medical Transportation Service

As Midwest City no longer offers OBGYN care or a local labor and delivery center, access to prenatal and postpartum medical care is a must for our local moms. Moms-to-be and their babies have greater physical, mental, and spiritual outcomes. Many times, under-resourced mommas do not have transportation or gas to get to and from these appointments, often having to choose between basic needs.

This is done on an application basis for residents of the Mid-Del area the duration of pregnancy up to six weeks postpartum.

Crisis Food Pantry

It's the end of the month and your SNAP benefits have run out. You've already visited the local food pantry's and can't go back for at least another 30 days. When you do go, they make you do a long intake, remind you that maybe you need to take a budgeting class so you won't be there again. But at the end of the day, your wage is still too low, you have mouths to feed, and that budgeting class doesn't help you when you only have a bag of rice in the pantry.

This is why we have crisis food pantry. No questions, no pressure, just enough food to get you through the next day or two and hopefully until your resources are back in the bank.

Located on Draper Drive behind neighborhood Walmart.

05.

Community Mom Groups

Data shows us that community builds resilience to trauma. Since the beginning of time, humans have operated in tribes, in community groups that support one another emotionally, spiritually, and even in physical needs.

In our partnership with Midwest City Moms, we host a cost-free monthly community group every third Saturday of the month. Moms get to enjoy a meal while they connect with other moms, their children are having fun in childcare, and we learn and have fun together!

Resource & Referrals

BG may not be able to provide every social service, but we know others who can!

We love partnering with local churches, agencies, nonprofits, and businesses to help our moms and their families have what they need. We do this through our partnerships like CarePortal!
